BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Agricultural producers interested in participating in the H2Ohio program for the 2026-2027 period can now sign up. The enrollment window is open until August 15, 2025.
It is important to note that producers who participated in the previous 2022-2025 H2Ohio program must reapply if they wish to continue their involvement for the upcoming 2026-2027 years.
Practices available through the H2Ohio program include:
- Precision and Basic Nutrient Management Plans: $10-$15 per acre
- Subsurface Phosphorus Placement: $20 per acre
- Overwintering Cover (Wheat, Cover Crops, perennial forages): $40 per acre
- Manure Incorporation: $35-$75 per acre
