Sheriff’s Office warns of another possible phone scam

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has announced that they have receive another report of a phone scam.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it has received another report of a phone scam.

The phone scam involved the caller identifying his or herself as being with UPS. The caller reportedly stated they had a special package for the resident involving $10,000. The resident was then asked to pay $190 for insurance to have the package shipped to them.

The phone number involved in the phone scam was listed as 876-828-3487.

Please report any scams to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
