Sheriff Scott Kent today announced the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s (ODPS) Ohio Traffic Safety Office (OTSO) awarded $21,620.04 in federal traffic safety funding to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for federal fiscal year 2017.
“Partnerships are critical to the success of any safety effort and we are committed to working with safety partners to address traffic safety concerns Crawford County,” said Sheriff Scott Kent.
To save lives and improve the quality of life for our citizens, The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office will use the grant funds to conduct high visibility traffic enforcement during specific holidays, homecomings, proms, and during national traffic campaigns on state routes and rural roadways that have been designated as problem areas.
