The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office had a busy Friday investigating a fatal accident as well as making three arrests.

Crawford County Sheriff Deputies investigated a fatal crash involving a semi-truck and a bicycle at 3:39 p.m. Friday afternoon. A preliminary investigation indicates that the crash occurred in the westbound lane of State Route 103.

Driver of the bicycle Dorothy Miller, 67, of New Washington was pronounced dead at the scene.

Semi-truck driver Thomas Burke, 72, of Leipsic, Ohio was uninjured.

LifeStar EMS, Lifelight, and New Washington Fire Department/EMS also responded to the scene.

The Crash remains under investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested Willian D. Moore at 803 Harding Way East on charges of Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstruction of Justice at 10:50 p.m. Monday.

Moore is being held for court.

Ronald Lee Dane was arrested by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for Driving Under the Influence at 7 p.m. Friday.

Dane was reported to serve a sentence of 6 days.

Katherine Swerlein was arrested Friday by Crawford County Sheriff Office for Driving Under Suspension, at 7 p.m. Friday.

Swerlein was reported to serve a sentence of 3 days.

In unrelated incidents, County Sheriffs assisted the Bucyrus Police Department in the arrests of Richard Dible and Lonnie Aurand on Disorderly Conduct charges.

Dible was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Monday and Aurand was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Friday.

Both were held until sober and given a court date.
