The Adult Basic Education class at Shelby Help Line Ministries is again accepting students. The class is for persons who want to refresh their math, reading or writing skills; improve their job readiness; or prepare for The GED® Test.
The class meets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 until noon. New students can enroll for the third quarter on January 20 or 27 or on February 3. Each student should bring a ballpoint pen with blue or black ink, a pencil, a notebook, driver’s license or state ID card and a book to read.
Residents of Richland, Crawford and Huron counties are eligible to attend. However, they must be at least 18-years-old.
The class is a free service of Shelby Help Line Ministries. It is located at 29½ Walnut Street (Rear), next to the school bus garage. Prospective students can call 419-347-6307 for more information.
