BUCYRUS — Persons indicted by the Crawford County Grand Jury were arraigned via video from the Crawford County Justice Center on Monday.
Michael R. Keeton. 20, of Bucyrus was indicted on one count of failure to comply, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison and one count of endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to six months in jail.
According to allegations, Keeton failed to stop when ordered to do so by police. He wrecked his car during the pursuit by police. He had a 16-year-old passenger in the car with him.
Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Keeton’s behalf. He appointed attorney Grant Garverick to defend him. Bond was set at $100,000.
Kevin Lammie, 28, of Upper Sandusky was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, three grams of meth) a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison. He is also charged with drug paraphernalia (pipe) a fourth-degree misdemeanor punishable with up to 30 days in jail, and possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor punishable with a $150 fine. Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Lammie’s behalf. He appointed attorney Brad Starkey to represent him. Bond was set at $50,000.
Jared Parmley, 24, of Bucyrus was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison after suffering a nearly fatal drug overdose. Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and appointed attorney Andrew Motter to represent him. Bond was set at $25,000.
Johnathon Delvecchio, 28, of Bucyrus was indicted on his third domestic violence charge making this a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison. Bond was set at $75,000 and Leuthold appointed attorney Andrew Motter to represent him.
Jeremy Alspach, 21, of Bucyrus is also facing a third-degree domestic violence charge punishable with up to 36 months in prison.
Jeremy Shafer, 33, of Tiro was indicted on one count of failure to control, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison, one count of aggravated menacing and one count of domestic violence, both first-degree misdemeanors and each punishable with up to six months in jail.
According to allegations, the incident arose from a domestic violence incident in which Shafer hit his wife’s car with his motorcycle. When officers arrived, Shafter fled the scene on the motorcycle. Officers stopped the pursuit after Shafer was reaching speeds of 55 miles per hour through the village of Tiro. Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Shafer’s behalf. Bond was set at $100,000. Attorney Andrew Motter was appointed to represent him.
Nichelle Gasurus, 51, of Bucyrus was indicted on one count of illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility, a third-degree felony punishable with up to 36 months in prison and one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony punishable with up to 12 months in prison.
According to allegations, police served a search warrant on the home of her co-defendant and roommate, Shawna Holman. Gasurus admitted to police that she had smoked meth before they arrived. Gasurus was found with meth in her bra when taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. Bond was set at $25,000. Gasurus has retained attorney Tom Nicholson to represent her.
Shawna Holman, 38, of Bucyrus was indicted on four counts of possession of drugs,(heroin, fentanyl, meth and clonazepam), each fifth-degree felonies and each punishable with up to 12 months in prison, and one count of possession of drugs, a minor misdemeanor punishable with up to a $150 fine. Leuthold entered a not guilty plea on Holman’s behalf and ond was set at $75,000. Attorney Tani Eyer was appointed to represent Holman.
