Area senior citizens will have the opportunity to become more educated for future needs on Sept. 13 at The First Church of the Nazarene in Bucyrus.
The church will host a Senior Resource Day in which information will be available and people to talk to about issues such as assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, hospice care, the Council on Aging, financial advice and more.
Although not guaranteed, flu shots may also be available. Those desiring a flu shot should bring their insurance cards.
There will be door prizes, a complimentary lunch with entertainment and a drawing for a $100 gift card.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be in the Fellowship Room at the church.
