BUCYRUS — A list of candidates for superintendent job at Bucyrus City Schools has been announced.

The list includes all candidates who applied for the position soon to be vacated by current BCS Superintendent Kevin Kimmel when Kimmel begins his new position as superintendent of the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center after the current school year ends.

The list also includes the candidate’s current position and district.

The list was shortened to six individuals who will be interviewed on either April 8 or April 9. Final interviews for the position’s finalists will be conducted April 16.

The position is anticipated to be filled by April 25.

The six semifinalists for the position, who will interview for the position, are:

  • Matthew Chrispin – Superintendent at Fredericktown LSD
  • George Fisk – Superintendent at Norwalk CSD
  • Donald Gliebe – High School Principal at River Valley LSD
  • James Metcalf – Superintendent at Plymouth-Shiloh LSD
  • Troy Radinsky – High School Principal at Leetonia EVSD
  • Zachary Shutler – Superintendent at Bridgeport EVSD
