Warmer weather has hit the area and that means one thing: the Bratwurst Festival is around the corner.
Bratwurst Festival Queen Committee Chairperson Sheila Nickum has announced that applications for the 2014 Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival Queen’s Scholarship Pageant are now being accepted. Applications are available in local school offices, at the Bucyrus Public Library, the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bratwurst Festival Office or at www.bucyrusbratwurstfestival.com/.
Applicants must be residents of Crawford County and between the ages of 16 and 19 by August 1.
A Get Acquainted Tea and Orientation meeting for all candidates and their parents will be held Monday, June 9 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bucyrus Public Library. This meeting is mandatory and at least one parent/guardian must be present.
Application deadline is June 9 by 6:00 p.m.
