Also during the meeting, Gary Frankhouse and Erin Stine of the Crawford Partnership gave an update on the Community Opportunity website to the board.
“We appreciate the amazing amount of support you have given to the program,” Stine said.
Frankhouse and Stine noted all Colonel Crawford High School students are signed up on the site that allows employers and potential employees to connect for jobs and internships. The site also includes information about each school in Crawford County and much more.
Frankhouse said the board voted to give half of $5,000 to the administering of Community Opportunity last year and would like the board to consider donating the other half this year. For more information about Community Opportunity, visit https://communityopportunity.com.
