CRESTLINE — The Crestline Exempted Village Schools Board of Education heard about various assemblies and events coming to the district.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., there will be a free concert in Crestline’s cafeteria featuring rappers Kevi Morse and Beacon from the Run Your City Tour.

The event is hosted by the school’s student-led anti-bullying task force that is trying to cut back on bullying and create fun activities for students to go to together and strengthen the student body.

The board was told Kevi Morse and Beacon are different than mainstream rappers today, as they do not use swear words or rap about anything considered inappropriate for students.

Earlier on in the school day before the concert, Beacon will speak to the older students on anti-bullying in an assembly titled, “Love the Haters.”

Another assembly Crestline will host is its Veterans Day assembly Friday at 1:30 p.m.

The next board meeting is Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
