That jolly old elf from the North Pole is headed south and will be in Crestline Saturday evening, just in time for the village’s Santa Parade.

The festivities begin at 5:30 that evening with the parade. At 5:45 the Christmas tree inside the town gazebo will be lit and Santa begins the pleasurable task of visiting with children at his temporary house in town in time to prepare for his Christmas Eve excursion.

Other festivities free and open to the public on Saturday evening in Crestline include carolers from the Crestline public school at 6 p.m.

Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided by the Crestline Community Development Team Winter Fest Committee and Crestline High School FCCLA.
