BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Sandra Gallant, 61, of Galion, accepted a plea offer just before her trial was scheduled to begin on Thursday in the Crawford County Common Pleas Court.
Gallant was charged in May 2024 with one count of permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony, which included a specification related to firearm possession.
Judge Sean Leuthold of the Crawford County Common Pleas Court sentenced Gallant to six months for the permitting drug abuse charge, in addition to a mandatory one year in prison for the firearm specification, resulting in a total sentence of 18 months in prison.
Gallant will receive credit for any jail time already served. She was represented in court by attorney Peter Scranton.
