GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—A robbery took place at Huntington Bank, located at 260 Portland Way North, shortly after midnight on Friday, August 8, 2025.

The incident occurred as a local business employee was in the process of making a night deposit.

According to reports, an unknown white male approached the employee while armed with a firearm.
The suspect, described as wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a dark face covering, forcibly seized the deposit bag before fleeing the scene on foot towards the Heise Park area.

Local law enforcement responded quickly to the scene; however, despite a thorough search of the area, the suspect could not be located. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any physical injuries during the incident.
