The Come Home to Galion festivities are Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Uptowne Galion. There will be a temporary closure of the Square (Harding Way from Columbus St. to Union St. and Market St. from Church St. to Walnut St.) from 2:00 pm until approximately 6:30 pm.
The Holiday Parade will begin at 4:30 pm, starting at Heise Park and ending on S. Columbus St. From 4:00 pm until the end of the parade, Harding Way will be closed from Jefferson St. to Columbus St.
Galion police request that area motorists plan on using alternative routes on Saturday afternoon.
