Galion Oktoberfest is next week. This is a brief reminder about road closures for the event.
Galion’s 40th annual Oktoberfest is Thursday, September 29, through Saturday, October 1. Drivers are reminded that Harding Way will be closed to thru traffic beginning Wednesday, September 28, at around noon. The closure will begin at the Union Street crossing and end at the Liberty Street crossing. The main detour route is Church Street. During the festival, food vendors and craft booths will be set up on Harding Way. Kids’ rides will be set up on the Public Square. Live music will be featured each evening on three stages.
