Right to Life advocates braved the cold and marched on downtown Bucyrus Saturday afternoon in protest of abortion.
Marching in their second year in Bucyrus, the Right to Life march route began at the Crawford County Courthouse at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Protestors held a prayer service before marching up towards Sandusky Avenue with the first stop on the route being the Kroger Parking lot.

Jean Mauler explained why she was participating in the march.
“People are born because God put us here, and he takes us away when we die, and nobody else can do that.”
Other destinations on the march included walking to Wendy’s and Bucyrus City Hall before finishing the march at the Pelican House Coffee restaurant.
The march was held in protest of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision which allowed for abortions to be legal under the U. S. Constitution.
