GALION — Emergency crews responded to a semi-truck crash on U.S. 30 on Friday morning.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Carl Daniel, a tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on U.S. 30 when a vehicle attempted to enter the highway off Ohio 602.
Daniel’s report said the vehicle maneuvered in front of the semi and caused the truck driver to hit his brakes. The truck then slid into a jackknife position while sliding into the ditch.
The driver of the other vehicle left the scene.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash and traffic was not impeded while emergency crews responded.
