MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Richland County local law enforcement agencies are joining forces to help fill local food pantries with much-needed food items. On Saturday, November 23, 2024, and Sunday, November 24, 2024, officers will be stationed in front of several local grocery stores with their patrol cars to collect food donations. These donations will be evenly distributed among the local food pantries in Richland County.
The community is encouraged to participate in the “Cram the Cruisers” event and meet some of the area’s dedicated Police Officers, Sheriff’s Deputies, and State Troopers. They will be collecting non-perishable goods to support those in need.
Collection Locations and Times:
- Wal-Mart on Possum Run Rd.
- Saturday: 3 PM – 7 PM
- Sunday: 10 AM – 2 PM
- Kroger on Ashland Rd.
- Saturday: 9 AM – 1 PM
- Sunday: 9 AM – 1 PM
- Kroger on Lexington Ave.
- Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM
- Wal-Mart on Lexington Springmill Rd.
- Saturday: 12 PM – 4 PM
This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and support local food pantries while engaging with local law enforcement officers.
