There were two causes for celebration on Perry Street in Bucyrus on Wednesday afternoon. Old Crawford Land Title Agency celebrated its new location while ARK Realty & Auction opened its doors.
For Tami Tima, owner of Old Crawford Land Title Agency, the relocation was literally a dream come true.
“I had a dream about finding a bigger place,” Tima said. “I loved where I was at before. I’ve just expanded and I needed to hire a part-time secretary; I needed the room.”
Her company used to be located within the Starkey and Stoll law offices on South Walnut Street. The new move now has her located at 116 W. Perry St. with ARK Realty & Auction.
Tima’s dream started to become a reality when she brought a contractor in to help design her area of the business in the old stone home overlooking the Sandusky River. She explained to him how she wanted the inside wall separating Old Crawford Land Title Agency from ARK Realty to imitate the outside of a house. Tima dreamed of the shingles, the shutters, French doors, windows, a roof, and even a mailbox – then the contractor doubled down on Tima’s dream and, much to Tima’s delight, added gutters and soffit.
Even with a spiffy new office, Tima is still up to her old ways with the company. She has managed Old Crawford Land Title Agency since 2001 and bought the company from Brad Starkey and Geoff Stoll in 2015.
“I’m a title insurance agent. I take the hassles out of what you do after you buy your home or after you’re done with the lender,” Tima explained. “I’m the liaison between you and the realtors.”

ARK Realty & Auction, a new realty company owned by Alexa Kamenik, encompasses the other half of the newly renovated space.
“Just started my company and moved in here,” Kamenik explained. “We got approved to actually start business before this was ready so we were trying to juggle everything. Now that it’s up and remodeled it’s kind of homey.”
