ONTARIO—The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Ontario Police Department conducted an OVI Checkpoint on 4th Street west of Home Road on August 28, 2021, from 8 pm to 10 pm.
During the checkpoint hours, 431 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint. Two vehicles were diverted for investigation. Of the two vehicles, one was placed under arrest for OVI.
The checkpoint was coordinated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ontario Police Department, and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
