BUCYRUS — Incumbent Jeff Reser will be mayor of Bucyrus for another four-year term while the Bucyrus City Council and Bucyrus City School District Board of Education will have some new faces.
Reser said he is excited to begin his second elected term.
“I am excited about the future of our city and thankful to the voters to have the opportunity to serve as mayor for another term,” Reser said.
He said plans are in the works to make Bucyrus a premier small town.
“We have the city’s bicentennial coming up and look forward to exciting things happening for the city,” Reser said. “We will work, work, work to make this city the best it can be and to make every single citizen proud of us.”
While incumbents Mark Makeever and Kevin Myers will serve another term as council members for the city, James Mee will be a new face on the council with fresh ideas. In a close race for the third council-at-large position available, Mee won against another newcomer, Karl Eichler.
Bucyrus City Schools will have three new members on its board of education, including Christa Graves, Randall Blankenship and Dave Jones Jr.
