On Friday, Oct. 30, Colonel Crawford students had the opportunity to meet, greet, and discuss politics with Representative Jim Jordan.

Jim Jordan is the U.S Representative for Ohio’s 4th Congressional district which he has served since 2007. Mr. Jim Jordan met with students in Mr. Ryan Teglovic’s during their social studies and psychology classes. Jim Jordan spoke about his upbringing, athletics, the deficit, his relationship with Paul Ryan, and answered questions from students. Mr. Todd Martin believed that Mr. Jordan’s national debt discussion and his thoughts on the presidential campaign were very insightful for our students.

Mr. Jordan also spent time talking to Mr. Todd Martin (Superintendent) and Mr. Jake Bruner (High School principal) of Colonel Crawford discussing climate of schools, funding, and athletics.

“It is a pretty rare for students and faculty to get to meet and talk with a Congressman and to have the one-on-one time that we did with Mr. Jordan. Our students had several questions and for Mr. Jordan and in depth discussion about the 2016 Presidential campaigns,” Mr. Bruner stated.
