Tuesday night’s deluge has resulted in wet basements and water across the road in several parts of Bucyrus and Crawford County.
The Bucyrus Police Department indicated high water signs went up at the East Mansfield Street underpass as well as Hopley Avenue at Highland and Sherwood and Southern. Those high water signs came down sometime after 11 p.m. Tuesday.
There were also basements reported to have back-up issues in town.
The Sheriff’s Office had a laundry list of roads where motorists and residents were reporting high water.
The Galion Police Department said their office had had no reports of flooding in that community. The flash flood watch for the area was canceled just before 4 o’clock this morning.
