MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Renaissance Performing Arts Association will continue its popular Teddy Bear Concert Series with a musical production of “Goldilocks and The Three Bears” on Sunday, April 26.

The performance is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Theatre 166, located adjacent to the historic Renaissance Theatre.

Designed specifically for children ages 2 to 10, the production reimagines the classic fairy tale through a blend of music and live narration. The story follows Goldilocks as she explores the bears’ home, sampling porridge and furniture before learning a lesson regarding the respect of others’ property.

The Teddy Bear Concert Series is tailored for young audiences and those with sensory sensitivities. Organizers noted the event features a relaxed atmosphere with lowered sound levels and designated sensory-friendly spaces.

“Whether it’s your child’s first theater experience or they’re already budding theater lovers, Teddy Bear Concerts invite young audiences into a world of wonder,” said Dauphne Maloney, Renaissance Education Manager.

The series is part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series, with sensory-friendly accommodations supported by the Gorman-Rupp Company in partnership with Nationwide Children’s.

Tickets for the event are $5. They are available for purchase online at rentickets.org or through the Renaissance Box Office.
