MANSFIELD, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)- The Renaissance Theatre is set to captivate audiences with its upcoming production of the iconic musical, “A Chorus Line.” This show is the latest addition to the Park National Bank Broadway Series and is scheduled to open on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30pm, with additional performances on March 3, 9, and 10.

“A Chorus Line,” a poignant tale of Broadway chorus dancers, first premiered in 1975 and quickly became a global sensation. The production is a timeless exploration of dreams, inclusion, and the enchantment of song and dance. As dancers converge to audition for a coveted spot in a major Broadway production, their training, skills, and hearts take center stage, hoping to secure the job of a lifetime.

The show boasts an unforgettable soundtrack, featuring iconic songs such as “What I Did for Love,” “Dance 10, Looks 3,” “At the Ballet,” and the stirring anthem “One!” – ensuring a captivating experience for audiences of all ages.

Interim Artistic Director Angela Iannone expressed her excitement about directing the production, stating, “A Chorus Line is one of those shows that reaches everyone. It is about the dreams we all hold of being included, being honored for what we do, and about the magic of song and dance.”

The talented cast includes Caroline Grace Williams as Cassie, Molly McClanahan as Sheila, Kayla Perez as Diana, Mindy Tishue as Val, Emily Bare as Judy, MJ Irvine-Selby as Kristine, Leah Gesouras as Maggie, Kathryn Moir as Bebe, Matt Piper as Zach, Dre’lan Evans as Larry, Dru Loman as Mike, Bobby Morrow as Richie, Ethan Gonzales as Paul, Zak Ramos as Mark, Noah Casner as Greg, Jimmy Lancaster as Bobby, Jacob Poiner as Al, and dancers Carter King and Davanna Parks, with additional support from the Richland Academy of the Arts Dance Company.
