MANSFIELD—The Renaissance Theatre has announced that registration is now open for the annual “Broadway Camp!” summer theatre program for students aged 8-13. The popular summer theatre camp sessions will be held as in-person classes during the weeks of June 20-23 and June 26-June 30.
Designed to provide students of all ability levels with the freedom to explore the world of musical theatre, the Broadway Camp! programs offer a range of activities including theatre games, improv, dramatic play, staging, and singing. The 4 and 5-day camp sessions allow every child the opportunity to benefit from an all-inclusive experience culminating in a special performance for parents, friends, and other guests.
The traditional three-hour morning camp will take place from June 20-23, and tuition is set at $105. The day-long, six-hour “Broadway Camp Showz!” camp (June 26-June 30) has also been added for participants to present a fully staged Broadway Kids-style production. Tuition is also set at $105 for this session. Full and partial scholarships are available for all Broadway Camp sessions.
The day-long “Broadway Camp Showz!” requires students to have previously completed a session of a two or three-hour Broadway Camp, or Broadway Camp, Too!
“Broadway Camp!” sessions are designed to be sensory-inclusive, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and perform as part of an all-inclusive experience.
