The Crawford Regional Planning Commission meeting was brief Wednesday, but it was comprehensive, at least in name. The main topic of discussion was the County Comprehensive Plan. Director Mike McBeth explains.

“The main thing we talked about tonight was how to update our County Comprehensive Plan which was put together back in 2001 (and) finally adopted by the county,” McBeth said. ”So we just kind of discussed preliminarily what process we want to take and what information we want to include.”
The plan is not available online currently but anyone who is interested in a copy of the plan may contact McBeth at 419-562-8566 to request one on a CD.
County Auditor Robin Hildebrand also discussed the upcoming sales and income tax changes. It was also mentioned at the meeting that the annual Tiro-Auburn Fireman’s Festival will take place in Tiro this weekend.
