The Crawford County American Red Cross and Donley Ford/Ford Motor company in Galion join forces to provide $20 to the Red Cross for every eligible test drive of a vehicle on Saturday May 14 from 9 am to 3 pm. Donley Ford is located at 702 Charles Street in Galion and will provide up to a total of $6000 to the Red Cross for the Drive 4 UR Community event. Every test driver will also receive a gift bag of coupons for free items and entry to win a purse full of prizes.
“Our Crawford County community needs a new vehicle to use when responding to disasters, fires, and to delivering lifesaving blood to the lab in Columbus for processing from area blood drives” Chris Copper, Director of Development, shared. “Donley Ford understands our need and is contributing to the fund made possible by a generous donation from the Crawford County Foundation. Area folks can impact our community profoundly with their actions, at the same time having fun.” Copper shared.
The Red Cross in partnership with organizations like Donley Ford provides significant funding for disaster relief, Services to the Armed Forces, Health & Safety CPR training and other critical community services that the American Red Cross provides in the community.
