The 4-H club members with rabbits had their projects all fluffed up on Tuesday at the Crawford County Fair. Nicole Flock stole the show in the Fryer Division with both the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion entries.
Allison Lawson of the Sulphur Springs Star Farmers had Best of Breed and Best of Opposite sex and shared her love of rabbits.
“I enjoy doing rabbits, I enjoy doing rabbits, I like raising them, taking care of them,” Lawson said. “I won 5th place Showmanship today. I got Best of Breed for the American Stables and I got Best Opposite Sex.”
Other winners were Adam McGinnis with Grand Champion Breed Class and Makayla Aichholtz as Reserve Grand Champion; and Makayla Aichholtz with Meat Pen Market Grand Champion and Megan McGinnis as Reserve Grand Champion in that class.
