BUCYRUS— Communications & Marketing Director for the City of Bucyrus, John Rostash, sent out the following email on Friday regarding water service for East Mansfield Street Business Owners and Residents.
E Mansfield St Business Owners and Residents,
Water service for business and homeowners located on E Mansfield St, east of Wayne Ave, will be disrupted this Sunday night, June 6, 2021. In order to minimize the inconvenience, the Water Distribution Department will be working through the night to relocate a portion of the waterline on E Mansfield St. Water will be shut off at 10:00 pm on Sunday night with service being anticipated to be restored on Monday, June 7, 2021, by 7:00 am. It will be necessary to boil your water for a period of 24-48 hours following the disruption in service. Please reference WBCO/WQEL, the Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum, or the City Facebook page for notification of when the boil advisory has been lifted. If you are unable to verify the conclusion of the boil advisory through the former sources please contact the Utility Office Manager Mike Kalb at 419-562-6767 ext 241 or the Water Treatment Plant at 419-562-7951 for a status update.
