The Fatherhood Program was initiated 3 years ago through Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission (OHCAC), serving fathers in the four county OHCAC service area – Crawford, Marion, Morrow and Richland Counties. The program is federally funded and operated through a sub contract with WSOS Inc. another multi-county community action agency located in north central Ohio.

We are proud of announce that The Fatherhood Program will be funded for the 2015 program year. This year’s program will operate from October 1st, 2014 – September 29th, 2015.

The program has no income restrictions and serves unemployed or underemployed fathers residing within the service area. If you or someone you know needs help finding a job or a better job while working through relationship/parenting skills with many supportive services, please call or email and we will begin the enrollment process after completing an individual assessment. As a result of limited funding, participation is available on a first come first serve basis to conscientious applicants.

Working with employers, we can offer OJT contracts this year, as well as monthly job retention incentives for the employee.   If you as an employer are interested in becoming a partner in a collaborative effort to not only hire, but maintain quality employees, please give us a call for details.
