The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced that it will close State Route 598 just north of State Route 19 in Galion on Monday.
The closure is due to a bridge replacement that is part of the Portland Way street widening project in the city.
The state detour route for northbound motorists while the road is closed calls for motorists to take State Route 19 to State Route 602 to US 30 to State Route 598. Southbound motorists should reverse the directions.
That road is expected to reopen on Nov. 17.
