BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police officers are searching for a large white box-style truck that hit two parked vehicles on South Sandusky Avenue early Saturday morning.
Mike Dostal said he was sleeping in his third story home above his business in the 100 block of South Sandusky Avenue when he was awakened by the sound of the crash.
“It hit both of our vehicles, a 2015 Audi A5 and a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both vehicles had to be towed away,” Dostal said.
The accident was caught on tape but the video is grainy. Another motorist was able to capture a partial license plate number.
Dostal said the truck is leaking fluid and police were able to follow the leaking fluid to Crossroads Boulevard.
“It pulled in there but then headed north on Route 4,” said Dostal.
The police dispatcher said the crash occurred around 5:30 a.m.
