A fatal crash Sunday, Sept. 3 in Bucyrus still is under investigation by the Bucyrus Police Department.

Police responded to the intersection of East Irving and Maple streets at 7:37 p.m. Sunday for a crash that involved a motorcycle.

According to the report, a 2013 Chrysler was southbound on Maple Street and pulled out from the stop sign and was struck by a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was traveling westbound on East Irving Street.

Life Support Team Ambulance and the Crawford County coroner also responded and the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers from the Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol were called in to assist in the crash investigation.

The crash still is under investigation pending test results and the results from the coroner’s office. The names of the involved parties are being withheld pending notification of relatives.
