In response to requests for this information, the Marion Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office have released the identity of the subject who was shot and killed by law enforcement officers after shooting at a police canine and towards the officers:

Age 38
256 N. Swain St.; Larue, Ohio
The incident remains under investigation by the Ohio Bureau of Investigation with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
