It certainly wasn’t a slow week for local law enforcement this past week.

The Bucyrus Police Department kicked off the week with an arrest in the late night hours Monday. Thirty-two-year-old Jessica Marie Rumer was charged with possession of heroin and drug abuse instruments. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await a court appearance.

Forty-three-year-old Deshawn Johnson was arrested at his residence Monday night on a Mansfield Police Department warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to await transport to Richland County.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brady Marshall of Findlay Tuesday for failure to appear. He is being held for court.

The Crestline Police Department arrested Kenneth James Leonhardt of Bucyrus Wednesday afternoon. He was charged with heroin possession and driving under suspension. He is being held for court.

The Bucyrus Police Department arrested twenty-nine-year-old Dennis J. Surgener in the 800 block of E. Mansfield St. Wednesday afternoon for theft. He allegedly stole a PlayStation 3 from someone he knows. He was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

Twenty-nine-year-old Matthew Ramsey was arrested in the area of W. Mansfield St. and Mary St. Wednesday night on charges of drug possession. He was also issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

Officers arrested fifty-five-year-old William Kochheiser Thursday afternoon for shoplifting at the Circle K on N. Sandusky Ave.
