GALION — Officers with the Galion Police Department have made headway in stopping the Galion Grinch who tried to steal Christmas during the holiday season.
A Christmas Eve post on the Galion PD Facebook page said the Grinch was captured and encouraged anyone who was missing decorations to contact GPD Officer Jonathan Patton.
Galion Police Chief Brian Saterfield said Wednesday morning the department has two people of interest as suspects.
He said no one has been formally charged for the crime and the case is being sent to Galion Law Director Thomas Palmer for review for criminal charges.
Christmas decorations were recovered as part of the investigation.
