The Bucyrus City Planning Commission didn’t dither about when it came time to make a decision on a lot configuration.
In Bucyrus Mayor Roger Moore’s words: “It makes sense why they’re doing it.”
The Planning Commission met Thursday morning to hear a request for a lot reconfiguration at 1120 and 1142 Nevada Rd. The proposal came from Mike and Michelle Rindfuss, who want to purchase part of a lot owned by Barbara Lewis at 1120 Nevada Rd. Both parties were in agreement with the proposal.
The Planning Commission voted to split the lot and then submitted a motion to combine that portion of the lot with the Rindfuss’ current lot. The board also approved the new plat with the consolidation in place.
Planning and Zoning administrator John Rostash noted that the portion of Lewis’ lot that was left over from the split would not be a buildable lot. Should Lewis desire to build on it, she will have to combine that portion with the existing front lot as the Rindfuss’ had done.
