BUCYRUS — Local law enforcement was called to respond to a plane landing on a rural Crawford County road Monday morning.

According to a report by the Bucyrus Police Department, a male pilot landed his small airplane on Denzer Road near Wyandot Road at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The Bucyrus Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the man’s aircraft ran out of fuel causing the emergency landing.

Both agencies confirmed the man was uninjured and the aircraft was undamaged.

The man’s identity and the specific type of plane was not available in the reports.
