BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police are requesting that a motorist involved in a hit-skip accident in the Kroger parking lot on Tuesday contact the police department.
At 3:53 p.m., officers investigated a hit-skip accident in the 200 block of East Mary Street. The parked car of a Kroger patron was struck by another vehicle that left the scene with their goods. The hit-skipper’s license plate was recorded.
The person is ordered to call 419-562-1006 or they will be receiving a visit by officers, according to the report.

7:59 a.m.-Officers met with a man at the police department regarding an ongoing case.
8:48 a.m.-Galion Police requested a message delivered in the 800 block of Cherry Lane.
2:26 p.m.-Officers attempted a welfare check in the 1200 block of Willard Street.
3:18 p.m.-An assault was reported in the 200 block of Dudley Street. A female was reportedly assaulted in the road and a male suspect took her phone. All parties dispersed by the time the officers arrived.
4:03 p.m.-Officers responded to an unruly juvenile in the 300 block of West Irving Street.
4:49 p.m.-Officers took a report of belongings found in the 300 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A person had been trespassing and abandoned their belongings under a stairwell. They were reunited with their owner.
6:48 p.m.-A domestic dispute was reported in the 200 block of Hopley Avenue. A caller reported what appeared to be a dispute when a female passenger was pulled back into a vehicle that left one parking lot and pulled into another parking lot a block away.
7:46 p.m.-A suspicious person looking into car windows was reported in the area of Earl Street. The person was described as wearing a dark blue coat, had a long white beard and was carrying grocery bags.
8:09 p.m.-A disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Heritage Circle. A caller reported a third party was assaulted at the caller’s residence.
8:28 p.m.-A disturbance was reported in the 500 block of Failor Avenue. A resident was playing loud music in a car drowning out the neighbor’s TV audio. The person turned the volume down.
9:26 p.m.-A juvenile missing from Galion was located in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue. Officers transported him back to Galion.
11:25 p.m.-An alarm at Bucyrus Preferred Wireless was investigated. It appears that someone had attempted to break the glass to the business but no entry was made.
11:41 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in the 400 block of Woodlawn Avenue was investigated. The officer was successful at calming everyone down.
