CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Avita Health System announced Wednesday the acquisition of a 3,774-square-foot building donated by Park National Bank to expand its medical footprint in Crestline.
The property, located at 245 N. Seltzer St., is situated adjacent to Avita’s existing Central Distribution Center and medical clinics. Avita officials stated the facility will become the new home for the system’s local retail pharmacy, introducing a drive-thru window to improve prescription access.
“We are always looking for ways to expand services in our rural communities,” said Jerry Morasko, President and CEO of Avita Health System. “This gift provides the perfect opportunity to move our current pharmacy to this new location which will give the community access to a convenient drive-thru.”
The donation marks a milestone in the partnership between the two organizations. Over the last 23 years, Park National Bank has contributed more than $1 million in gifts, grants, and sponsorships to the health system.
Renovations on the building are expected to begin over the next several months to prepare the space for the pharmacy’s relocation.
Chris Hiner, Regional President and Director of Retail Lending for Park National Bank, said the donation aligns with the bank’s mission to support local families.
“This property has been an important part of the neighborhood for many years, and we’re proud to see it continue to serve local families in a meaningful way,” Hiner said.
The new location will complement Avita’s existing Crestline campus, which includes therapy, sports medicine, and primary care clinics.
