The Crawford Park District will present what it calls a fascinating program this month.

The Gibbs Lab at The Ohio State University is dedicated to wildlife conservation using molecular and genetic research to learn more about ecology. Dr. Lisle Gibbs will give an overview of current projects in the lab on Jan. 21 at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center. That program begins at 7 p.m.

Following Dr. Gibbs, in celebration of “The Year of the Salamander”, Ph.D. student Rob Denton will present his preliminary findings of his research on Salamanders he is conducting in Crawford County.

Lowe-Volk Park is located 3 miles north of US Route 30.
