The Crawford Park District will be getting up close with the Sandusky River for a stream study this week.
The Sandusky River is swimming with many vertebrates along with many macroinvertebrates like aquatic insects and leeches, and the Crawford Park District invites you to explore.
The program will take place at 6 p.m. on June 15 at Lowe-Volk Park. All ages are welcome to attend and discover and investigate the critters of Crawford County. Those attending will use seines and aquatic nets to properly investigate the little critters.
Proper attire for the event is recommended. Since the event will take place in the water, water shoes or boots are recommended.
