The public is invited to join the Crawford Park District for a presentation followed by a short discussion on the dangers of adopting wildlife. The program is scheduled for 7 p.m. next Thursday at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center.
Compassion for wildlife is an admirable trait. But, where do we draw the line? People do not often understand the dangers or the penalties they may face when they “adopt” wild animals.
