The Lowe Volk Park Nature Center will be open on Monday, July 4 from noon to 5 p.m.
If you haven’t been out to see the “Kids Learning Tree”, this weekend would be a great opportunity! The Nature Center will also be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
All of the parks of the Crawford Park District are open from sunrise to sunset. The ponds at Unger Park and Lowe-Volk Park are open for catch and release fishing. Adults do not need a license to fish in either of the ponds.
