The Crawford Park District is doing its part to help people get in or stay in shape with two outdoor events over the next several days.
At 6 o’clock on Wedneday evening there will be a Toddler Trot at Unger Park. The event is led by Naturalist Josh Dyer and Chrisha who will explore the woods and wetlands. This program is designed for children up to second grade. Unger Park is located just west of Bucyrus on Bucyrus-Nevada Road.
At 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon Naturalist Warren Uxley will lead the Schanzenback Prairie Hike. For several years now Mark Schanzenbach has been building a tallgrass prairie. Schanzenbach has gathered botanical specimens from all over Ohio and he is eager to share the many truly spectacular and unusual species he has collected. This hike is at 4924 Henry Cooper Road.
