CRESTLINE — Family-friendly fun is set to take place in the great outdoors at the Crawford Park District throughout the summer.

Activities at Lowe-Volk Park and other area parks and reservoirs are set for the remainder of June.

In collaboration with Crawford County Public Health, the Crawford Park District will be able to accommodate multiple participants at the events but require preregistration. Preregistration may be done by calling the park district at 419-683-9000.

June activities include:

June 12 – Canoeing at Ness Reservoir (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
June 12 – Animal Encounters: Snakes at Lowe-Volk Park (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.)
June 13 – Animal Encounters: Painted Turtles at Lowe-Volk Park (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.)
June 15-21 – Storybook Trail (On Meadowview Street) at Lowe-Volk Park
June 17 – Archery at Unger Park (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
June 18 – Animal Encounters: Tree Frogs at Lowe-Volk Park (10 a.m. and 2 p.m.)
June 20 – Fishing at Lowe-Volk Park (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
