The Crawford Park District and the Bucyrus Public Library are teaming up for this fun family program.
The Story Walk is a copyrighted program that involves posting separate pages of a story along a walking. The story is read at the successive stations as participants walk a trail. Funding for purchase of books and materials for the program was provided by the Kiwanis service club of Bucyrus.
The story being presented at the Family Tent Camping event will be Over in the Meadow, written and illustrated by Ezra Jack Keats. Guest are encouraged to attend the program even if they are not staying for the Family Tent Camping Event. The reading of the story will begin at 7 p.m.
This will be our “inaugural” program and hope to do additional StoryWalks in conjunction with the Water Carnival and the Halloween Family Fun Night.
