On Saturday, April 25, the Galion Community Center YMCA is holding its first-ever pancake breakfast fundraiser. This event takes the place of the YMCA’s long-standing spaghetti dinner fundraiser.
“The spaghetti dinner was a great event, but we are very excited to try something new,” said CEO Terry Gribble.
This fundraising event will take place at 500 Gill Avenue in Galion from 7:30-10 a.m. Families can relax and enjoy a breakfast of freshly prepared pancakes, sausage, juice, milk, and coffee for a donation of just $6 for adults and $4 for youth ages five to ten. Children age four and under will eat for free.
The proceeds from this event supplement YMCA membership and program fees for families who qualify based upon a sliding fee scale. These supported memberships make opportunities for fun, educational, and character-building YMCA activities available to all, regardless of income.
For more information about this event or the agency’s supported memberships, contact the Galion Community Center YMCA at 419.468.5574 or visit galioncenterymca.org.
